Hey there!
Since I posted this in Feb, I have been using Earth Pro A every first, second, third, fifth, sixth, and seventh feedings. Then, Repashy Calcium Plus LoD on the fourth feeding and Arcadia Calcium Pro MG on every eighth feeding. After the eighth feeding the cycle rotates again from the...
Home Depot sells ones that work great. That’s what I use when the magnets break or get lost.
Usually in the fasteners section. Come in various sizes and quantities, too.

I read your comment on that and forgot to comment on it. Thank you for bringing it up again.
IMHO I agree with you. I feel like a lot of the light is being wasted with the front side not being covered. My assumption is that the only effective uvi is pretty darn close to the bulb. If continuing...
@felo1812
Also, forgot to mention, those bulbs I spoke about are all 5.0’s.
I notice with too high uvi the chams usually will hide and show signs of being stressed out. Thought that may help since you don’t have a uvi meter and are trying to gauge everything without one.
Hey there! Congrats on the new babe.
For all my babies up to three or four months I use t8 fixtures set on top of the cage. My uvi readings are a little above 3UVI taken at the tip top of the inside of the enclosure against the screen. I have successfully raised many babies under these lights...
I have two of these enclosures that I’ve been using for about 6 months. Both are on timers so no lights on at night. When timer flips on it automatically sets the lights to their first setting - red and white. You can switch to all white if you want, you’ll just have to do manually each time.
I...
I’m happy everything is working out thus far for you! Thanks for being willing to meet up to hand off this little guy. I’m super relieved that we didn’t ship. It was like 110 degrees where we met so I’m grateful we didn’t ship. Totally worth the drive. You’re going to do a stellar job with him I...
Good evening, CF!
I have some baby panther chameleons that are going to be ready for shipping at the beginning/mid July and I'm very excited to have the opportunity to offer these babies to good homes. The babies are a local cross with a WC Sambava Sire and a CB Ambilobe Dam. I'm selling them...
ALRIGHTY! It's that time! Time for me to show you the finished product. After a long long trial and error I finally got this enclosure the way I want it. I'm pleased with it and added all my microfauna and leaf litter and such. Added some spanish moss in random places (hoping it will work well...
So the day after I was speaking to you on this thread I went by a local pet store. The owner and I have a good rapport and he offered to order cages for me at cost with the stores orders. Don't know if something like that is worth looking into with your local pet stores.
Aside from that, you...
From what I've researched, The 12" height is good until they reach about 3 or for months. That's only for one. That's my plan at least. I would be interested to know what she thinks, too.
Yeah I get that. I just did a bioactive 18x18x36 and once all the stuff was added into it I could hardly lift it. I actually picked up that terrarium from LLL because it was like $120 to ship it from San Diego to Los Angeles..130 miles give or take. Maybe you can talk exo terra into sending you...
I ended up using a 36" wide rack for baby enclosures. I believe its like 7 feet tall.
Since I was on a budget with this, I used 20 qt sterilite gasket containers. I got all 12 for about $140. Cut out the top of the lid and glued in screen.
The rack perfectly fits three tubs across each of...
It has a male usb cord that will attach to a usb port (the kind you see used with smartphones). The fan speed is 26 CFM (cubic feet per minute). It has a controller on it where you can switch between low, medium and high fan speeds.
You could always get something that produces greater CFM, but...
