Before I started using Arcadia supplements, I used Repcal Herptivite Multivitamin & Repcal Calcium plus d3 for many many years with great success.
I've never seen the difference with the type of plain calcium I use. I've used Zoo Med's Repticalcium without d3 and Lugarti calcium w/o d3 as well...
It is quite odd. I would not personally be as worried if that third part wasn't there. It kind of had some egg salk/yolk consistency. What are the odds that it would still be inside it a week and some change later?
I have noticed that it behaves normally when awake. Still very dark colors...
Dang I thought I was being helpful. Shoulda thought that one through haha :ROFLMAO:
I used my nail to lightly see if it was stuck and it is not. I've decided to leave it be for now since it seems to be ok still. Any suggestions?
Panther chameleon eggs. They look close in size to the other clutches that are hatching. The neonate inside looks developed, but I haven’t touched it.
I know you’re in Canada so I got pictures with a ruler as well as a nickel. Wasn’t sure if the nickel worked for you.
So maybe change...

Part of the reason you have that build up is if you're using tap water with the conditioner. Tap water has a bunch of total dissolved solids in it which is what creates lime buildup (the white residue the water leaves). By adding the conditioner you're only dechlorinating that water, but not...
Thank for your replies! I followed up with the vet on Friday and she told me to start the little one on Reptaboost or Carnivore Care. So, as you both know, you were right.
I picked up the Reptaboost. The vet told me she could give me Carnivore Care, but I found it much more convenient to get...
I’ve had a lot of success with a couple clutches hatching normally in the last few weeks.
However, I noticed today one from an unrelated clutch decided that it wanted to bust out of its egg like The Incredible Hulk. Not sure if that’s normal or if the egg ruptured from being too moist.
I'm using plain pedialite in place of food and water. It's enclosure if misted for 15 seconds a couple times of day. This covers the entirety of the enclosure. I would think it's got enough water if the pedialite isn't enough. You're welcome to tell me otherwise.
What is Critical Care? I can...
@kinyonga
Today I gave the cham some meds, pedialite and applied more sugar water to it's bum. At this time, I noticed the prolapse was gone mostly. Not sure if it's getting better or if maybe it was rubbed off? Here's some pics. The lil one is still all kinds of squirrely.
I'm nearly finished with the build. Got most of my plants in. I had to sacrifice some of them since there was no room.
After planting all the plants there was something that wasn't sitting right with me. I spoke with Mike Tyluta aka "graphic phoenix" who suggested I take out the white branches...
Two to three hours intermittently?
As long as you are ritualistic about getting the water out then you are ok with drainage. I have not found that ideal in my experience and I suggest finding a better method of getting the water out of the cage. You're not wrong, but it might be less of a pain...
Also, your cham walking into the screen is not normal behavior. Does she do this often? Does she roam frequently? She might be looking for a place to lay.
In one pic she looks plump as if she may be gravid, but the other ones it’s hard to tell since she’s elongating her body. Any chance you can...

Is the Fluker's Cricket Diet what you're using for the roaches?
Just label the containers something different and hopefully the wife won't notice. Either that or make cricket disguises for the roaches so she can't tell the difference
Maybe you can teach a friend how to do everything? I usually watch my friend's chams when they go out of town. It's much different when you have someone familiar with chameleon keeping take care while you're gone.
That's why I think going to reptile shows is of great value. Not sure if you've...
Looking good! Nice to see how it's coming along. You must feel accomplished after the silicone step.
Idk if your bf washed the hydro balls first, but those things have A LOT of dust on them. That bugged me so I ended up rinsing them. Not sure if that bugs you at all. Just some food for thought.
