There we go! It's been a while, thanks! The tricky thing is that you don't know for sure the albino strains a gecko can hold if it is heterozygous or possible heterozygous (het or poss het) for it, which is difficult to tell visually. Where did you get the geckos from OP?
There are three different types of albino in Leopard Geckos: Tremper, Bell, and Rainwater. It is generally advised not to breed them together, I forget exactly why but it is definitely something to look into.
Just be careful with albinos if you can. Not saying a guarantee since the only way to tell is by asking the breeder, but the second female almost looks like some possible Rainwater Albino. Do you have any way of asking the breeder for their genetic information?
One of my females used to lay eggs when she was younger, but she got older and hasn't laid any in a few years. I had another that never laid with me, lay bin or no lay bin. I agree that some will and some just don't.
You should also understand that there are few glass enclosures out there large enough to house a Veiled. Also, they weigh a TON. Just something to keep in mind.
Josh's Frogs has a lot of great information on these guys, they have a separate blog page that goes into depth about a lot of things. They also have a YouTube channel. If you are more interested, there's a forums just like these called Dendroboard to get even more information. Hope this helps!
Hello! I have a partially complete exoterra for sale. The only thing missing are plants. The enclosure has a hygrolon back and cork, and has a drainage layer with a 50% sand 50% peat moss layer on top. The lights are an Arcadia 6% T8 with ZooMed fixture and a small mini Zilla halogen (20w I...
Oh I don't think that really needs to be siliconed. I was mainly thinking perhaps a sharp plastic plant edge that would be annoying to trim, but I guess it is an option rather than hot glue.
