The main reason I don't use substrate is because it's much harder to clean and sterilize cages. With a situation like this however, organisms and worms will break down any bacteria or droppings in the cage. I've never worried about impaction if basking temps and hydration are sufficient. This...
There's a lot of differing opinions on the use of coiled UVB bulbs. I had a pet store owner get annoyed with me because I read about many different problems associated with them on forums, including this one. He got angry (regardless of the fact that I'd probably kept and raised more reptiles...
Mine are generally 145 grams on average. At the moment my heaviest is 168 at 1.5 years old. Lightest is 109 at 1.5 years old, eventually I'll post my journals here when I have time. Ive recorded average weights, feeding and medication schedules, breeding history etc. for years.
Based on the pictures she looks really good. You may want to slow down on the handling if she is in fact getting stressed by it. It may not look like it to us, but it is very detrimental to their health when under stress. I would put a bucket of moist play sand in her enclosure and if you...
If she is in fact ready to lay, you'll see two noticeable lumps, one on either side, just in front of the rear legs. I'll attach a pic for you. Also I use a large bin (like the ones you put garbage in at the side of the road) so if you don't put branches all the way up, they can't climb out...
She looks pretty big in some of those pics and she's showing typical laying behaviour. Most of my females will wander the cage for 4-5 days before they start to dig. Some take a week or more, it all depends. I'm concerned that she may have a very large clutch based on the amount you've been...
How wide are the spaces between the bars? If female I'd be concerned about her getting stuck in them than anything else. Looks like they're small enough for a male though but I'd keep an eye on him for a few days to make sure.
If you can cup feed in the morning without letting too much light in the room he shouldn't even wake up. Most of my chams sleep through everything except direct light on them. I also leave for work very early in the am but I slowly changed the light timer (about fifteen minutes every few days)...
I would avoid it. Chams sleep quite deeply until the lights come on and crickets are know to bite and chew sleeping reptiles if they have the chance. Put em in a cup or Tupperware and don't take the chance.
Your supplement schedule should be as follows:
Calcium without d3 every feeding
Calcium with d3 every two weeks
Multivitamin without d3 every two weeks (not at the same time as calcium w/d3)
Your temps may be too high if the ambient temp is getting up to 90 degrees
Ambient temp should be...
Hmm that seems like more than enough. Could you fill out the care sheet for us and it may help us get a better idea of what's wrong.

That's already a heavy medication schedule. make sure you keep him very well hydrated or it (especially the baytril) will wreak havoc on his liver and kidneys. All that medication is likely inhibiting his appetite. The most important thing is for him to get the fluids he needs and hope that...
What concerns me most is that he drinks directly from the spray bottle. The majority of chams wont drink in front of people so it's a sign he's not getting enough hydration and is desperate for a drink by the time you start misting. How often are you misting and for how long? I mist 3 times a...
Most people on here prefer screen enclosures but other than that your husbandry sounds good. At 18 months he likely doesn't have much growing left to do and likely won't eat as much. My males get fed one or two large roaches or the equivalent in other feeders every other day after they reach...
