@Mendez Sooo I paired them together the other night for the first time and the lights weren't out for 25 mins and this is what I walked in on ...
ππ They wasted NO time haha !! Should have eggs this time next month super excited. Tried posting the video but it won't upload π
Love everybody chiming in with different opinions/views ! I'm not really sure the cause but I know all mine are normally within a week of eachother. Even the younger ones / parsons . Very interesting indeed
Man honestly you got a solid plan . I think it's really cool you're working with different species that most people aren't! Aren't willsii Canopy Chameleons? How small do they stay & are they montane species ? For now my phants are in their separate room being that it stays a little cooler in...
Soo does anyone else have multiple chams that all tend to shed at the same time? This whole time I thought it was me but I spoke w another member earlier and found out theirs do the same . So now I'm wondering how common it is ? I have 4 chams (3 Panthers and 1 parsons) & they all shed within...
Couldn't agree more man ! Phants are easier maintenance but w tighter parameters. The sleeping all day is still funny to me lol. Thank you though man it's my first of many ! My goal is to continue to keep Chams but maybe more as pets but actual breed my Phants. Gotta get my π° up before later...
Yeah thats one of the main reasons I wanted to get into these . Little less water and no heat but other than that pretty much the same care conditions π.
& @Beman I was the same way with reptiles until I got into chameleons lol . They're like a gateway drug to the rest of the lizard world ππ
Wow really? I started looking at Sikorae which are mossy leaf tail geckos and then stumbled upon these and now im infatuated π. They're opposite of chams .. sleep all day and then when the lights go off they are ready to party π₯³ haha
Man thanks I think these little fellas are super cool/crazy looking π₯π₯! The male has these little spikes (almost looks like mini thorns) and was thinking of naming him Spike π€ lol. Love how smooth the female looks and her color also ! I got you brother think I'm gonna pair them tonight since she...
Sorry this is a chameleon forum BUT I recently got a nice breeding pair from Yvette and def wanna share them with you all π.
This is my boy
And this is my female π
Yesss man I picked up a breeding pair from Yvette Strand @mistymountainphants. My female just became sexually mature (laid duds) so I'll be pairing her up with my male this week π. Should have eggs by next month. Not gonna lie though I had my eyes on sikorae before I got these phants but I...
Man kinda glad I don't have a BUNCH of extra money for reptiles at the moment .. I'd turn this 3 bedroom house into a zoo ππ .. ESPECIALLY now that ive dipped my toes into Uroplatus π haha
Interesting I was thinking about getting one of their lights for my leaf tail geckos but I've already had to raise my 46inch Arcadia on like three 2x4's lol . And these are more powerful π€
