    some chameleons are shy eaters , I would cover the cage and give it some privacy . count how many feeders you add the feeder run , that way you know if it ate any .

    They are able to regulate their uvb through sun exposure so they know once they have enough .. they only way to overdose d3 is with supplements

    look up uv index on google it should give you an rough idea on when to bring you cham out door . usually around 1 pm is when uv levels are super high so morning sun is your best bet for direct basking exposure .

    we have raccoons to ! they have never messed with my chameleon cages ! the chameleons don't move a night so im thinking that's why , but my pond that's next to cages is a different story ! they try to snatch fish all the time ! it best to be cautious tho because the do have thumbs lol

    I notice my chams don't have a problem once they are adults ... they love the males with wings for some reason .
