I drop my panthers into the 60s during the night in the winter months. Warmer months they drop in the 70s at night.
Day time temps hot spot around 90ish cool spots are in the 70s. That's year round.
I wonder where they got that info from. That whole little artical is crap. Sad thing about it there are a lot of people that would read it and believe it just because it's on the Internet.
I bet the person who wrote works at a petshop. They always have an answer for all questions wether they...
There are more than 150 types of chameleons species with an extremely wide range of care including temps.
If you would like the correct info post what kind you have.
Lots of great advice put in your thread so far. I think if you listen to everyone you shouldn't have any problems. That's a really cool cage. Just add a bunch more greenery and I think your going to be in pretty good shape. And def 86 that mirror.
Normally at that size there is lots of color showing through. But sometimes they are late bloomers. I say just keep doing what your doing and before you know it his color is going to start to crack. Bruce has some really nice animals I'm sure he's going to be a stunner. I'd bet on it!!
No I'm not asking for myself. I have a friend that I was telling these about and she was interested. Not saying that $350 is a good or bad deal but my friend just won't go that high for this particular species. So that's why I'm asking.
He looks awesome!! I've got my guys outside too. I'd say I got about another 30 days then it's back inside for everyone. I'm dreading it. Mine have been out for 4 solid months. Wish I lived where they could stay out year round. The real deal sunshine makes them bullet proof plus it's awesome to...
Ok. You guys had what I thought was a pretty crazy idea. Lol
But it worked!! I rolled/flipped it up and it stayed and looks totally normal now.
Now the question is how the heck did this happen. I've had so many panthers come and go and this was a first. Never even heard of this before.
Im...
That is what I call a keeper!!
If he looks like that now at only 4 months I can't even imagine what's going to happen to him in the next year.
KILLER!!
ok so I received a Panther female this morning from a very very good friend of mine. She was perfectly ok when she was put in the box but this is how she came out of box. I know that she was fine to be a 100% fact when she was packed. She was packed in a soft like snake bag. Not one of those...
Looks like I see 3 tails in the picture. Hopefully most of the worms were properly digested and that's what the rest of the picture is.
My guess- everything is prob fine. I'd say just keep an eye on him and hopefully he poops again soon. Another poop would be a good sign all plumbing is working...
I've said it a million times before here on this forum and I'll keep saying it. Mealworms are a horrible horrible horrible feeder. Exoskeleton is hard to digest. Some retile species can take them better than others but I think they go best on the end of a hook. That's it. I see no other use for...
I believe Jaxy girl explained the vit A deficiency very well. And this is the exact source of a MAJOR amount of eye problems caused in Chams.
Jaxy girl I was getting ready to post something simalar before I read your posts. I think you explained it extremely well.
I always have vitA gel caps...
