Good looking boy and he still has a ways to go too!! Not sure what the breeder told you about his age but he's def not 4 months. I would guess 6/7 months.
He's going to be a stunner for sure!! Keep up the good work.
D3 weekly is too much. Twice a month or even every 20 days is optimal. They should be getting most of there D3 through there UVB light. D3 is one thing you don't want to over do.
Mike you pretty much nailed what I was thinking. It does sound very logical.
I just put them outside not to long ago. There in a nice shady spot. I did the same thing yesterday.
I've got a sprinkler that goes back and forth. When the water is shooting straight up it hits a ton of branches and...
(y)(y)There is more than enough heat outside. It's freaking hot here!! I really just want to make sure that there skin and eyes can handle the real deal sun. I've housed normal veileds outside before and they loved it. I also house some of my panthers outside too. The difference between being...
I can help solve your problem too. If they hit the dirt odds are next time you see them they will be beetles. Happens to me pretty often. No biggy. When they are beetles it's hard to miss them. They are pretty big.
Someone has got to have my answer. And I have to agree with you courts spyro. These guys are crazy cool. You should see one in person. Pics don't do them justice.
I breed panthers but when I don't have any I usually buy them so I have something to sell. This time I had a group of super trans veileds offered to me and I was like what the heck if I can sell panthers I could prob sell these too.
Now this is the first time I've ever had these before. I've...
And frozen is always better than live food. Just hold the mouse by the tail and swing him around the sand boas face. 9 out of 10 sand boas will take frozen thawed.
Before I fell head over heals for chameleons all I had were snakes. I had litterally 1000s come and go. Lots of sand boas to.
Am I correct to assume it's a Kenyan sand boa?
If I'm correct be careful when trying to locate him if you are trying to take him out. They are expert ambush predators...
Ambilobis color up very very differently than ambanjas. Most ambilobis have bright colors. Much easier to see them colored up more vividly at your ambanjas age.
I think your Ambanja looks great. Give him time he got a long ways to go with his color. If your looking for something more brightly...
