So proud he’s shedding again. Last one was about the 18-19th of November. Makes us feel like he’s happy and healthy!! ? Can’t wait to see how big he gets!!
It’s definitely better than tap water. Distilled and RO are better choices if you want to avoid water spots. Probably better for your Cham also or at least distilled is. Because when you look up is RO water safe, you get a ton of documentation from the World Health Organization saying it is not...
That’s what my husband said after I ordered them. Wish I would of asked him to make some instead of me jumping the gun and ordering them, the thought just hadn’t crossed my mind, it is a rather simple design too.
Forgot to post a picture of our baby Zelus, hehehe. Noticed others did and I just can’t help it, we love him so much!!!! I think I accidentally posted this twice, sorry. Still learning.
Just wanted to show what my husband did with the kitchen cabinet we used for our habitat. We didn’t want to lose space/the use of the drawer. He got creative. Luckily, there was just enough room in the cabinet for the mistking reservoir, insects and a water tank with a sensor that alerts us on...
He does tend to spider-man it every once in a blue moon. Lol. But most of the time he’s chillin, basking or roaming amongst his foliage etc... I’ll just stay safe and elevate it to 4 inches, it’s about 2 at the moment. Will get it done now.
Luckily our grocery store does deliver and you can do curbside. Delivery would definitely be preferred if we lived in an apartment. I know we wouldn’t want to hike them up the stairs, lol.
Can you put a t5 5.0 uvb directly on top of your habitat or should I keep it elevated a little. Here’s a picture of what our habitat/light setup looks like. I’m just afraid the uvb doesn’t get far enough down. And yes I’m aware that the uvb is tilted a little. My inner ocd is killing me, lol...
We bought coroplastic boards on Amazon that fit our habitat, had to cut them down a tiny bit to make them fit inside though. Just used a spray adhesive to attach a rainforest shower curtain. Here’s a couple of pictures of before we filled in our habitat and after. Make sure you seal with...
All screen cages are basically the same, I think but I could be wrong. Just have to have the right dimensions. Also, If you don’t buy a dragon strand habitat which they are pricey. You can still order dragon ledges to help with whatever enclosure you do buy, they help with stability and give you...
As said by another, check this sites sponsors and go with one of them. They do grow fast, in my experience with them, so maybe get a smaller size than needed. You can also buy eggs and silkworm chow if you decide to start a habitat/home for them.
That’s what is says. Lol. It’s at least distilled for sure, so that’s good. Not sure on their claims of how it’s processed. But here’s a picture of the part that says how it is done, supposedly.
