DO NOT order from CBreptile again please!!!! They are horrible, we got a rescue, instead of a healthy chameleon from them, he had MBD, a broken leg and tail and was extremely small, weighed under 1 gram. Our vet couldn’t even get an actual weight because of how small he was. I’ve heard nothing...
I’m thinking I might try getting a flexible waterproof shelf liner, cut it to a slightly smaller size than the pot, so it’ll fit snug but still allow water to get through, with a slit leading to the hole cut out for the plant in the center. I don’t know. Just tired of cleaning poo out of rocks...
I’m currently using small/medium sized smooth stones. But it’s hard to keep them in the pots when the plant is tilted. Any ideas? Maybe something that can be wiped up or easily cleaned if poo gets in there.
I know your sticking with plants but I have the toloco and it works great!! Because those little b*****d’s have a special place in hell reserved. Lol!!! Jk. But seriously they suck!!
Those are all warnings for while using/applying product. Not for once it’s set. Called Dow/Dupont talked to their people about exposure. They said once it’s set if your using the pond & stone it is safe. The pond & stone is safe for fish and plants. Once it’s cured. You still must be careful...
Yeah, I don’t know much about that stuff. So that’s why I followed the example of someone that everyone seems to refer too when learning about chameleons etc... (chameleon academy), not sure how much of a study there’s been on using it though. I pray it’s okay or Bill Strand has some explaining...
Ya, I’m not sure. You’d think Bill Strand from dragon strand/chameleon academy wouldn’t use it if it was bad. It is for foaming a pond liner basically so it’s safe for fish. I’ll have to look into it more I guess.
Haven’t gotten many pictures because we were letting him get use to his new home. But he was chillin on his bromeliad, trying to blend in, lol. Well, I think he did a pretty good job because these are by far the most beautiful pictures I’ve gotten of our baby Zelus as of yet, he’s displaying so...
Here’s a link from Dragonstrand.com that says you don’t have to silicone it. Supposedly you just use it. I’ll have to look up how it will react with cleaners.

Will any of those cleaners dissolve or damage the great stuff foam I have in the Habitat? Tried looking it up online but didn’t see anything regarding habitats with great stuff.
It’s not needed yet but figure I should know before it needs to be done. Just got Zelus on November 5th, his habitat is spot cleaned daily. So, was wondering if when you guys do a deep clean, do you transfer your chameleon to another habitat or what you do with yours while you clean and let it...
Tried doing the light thing, it seemed to get them moving a lot more for a little bit but it doesn’t really seem beneficial for all day, since crickets are nocturnal and attracted to light, they ended up just hiding under their egg crates after a little while.
