Yes, I read that too, but I'm not sure how accurate it is...I just wish I could somehow hear what they're thinking. LoL pretty sure my boy has a foul mouth though and if he had a middle finger, I'd see it often.:ROFLMAO:
I was thinking he probably is just feeling a bit uprooted, too. Hopefully he will acclimate and be okay after a bit of adjustment time. Of course I cant be totally sure.
I for one, am glad to know you care enough to come here asking for help when you need it! :) there are a lot of adults seem to have a hard time with that concept.
This is my point exactly. If the kid doesn't have the means to properly care for a chameleon, heck, most adults don't usually, then it shouldn't be taken on, or taken lightly. I'm also one that doesn't support giving any type of animals for Christmas or birthday gifts. Especially if the person...
My daughter loves helping me, too. But ultimately, Godrick is my boy. I would never have considered getting a chameleon for my child to be the primary care giver. She has a betta fish. (y)
I posted a link to all the resources that would be helpful for you. It shows proper lighting, enclosures, supplements and gut loading all in a convenient area called resources. (y)
Please check it out.
Haha!! Right? Well...it's almost like buying the kids a toy and they'd rather play with the box. Well, kinda. LoL only Chameleon style. Haha:LOL::ROFLMAO:
Ha! I'm 5' 3-3/4" there's a happy little folding step stool lovingly placed near my Godrick's habitat too. He's in the corner of my bedroom, but I have a blackout cover on his habitat for bedtime too because sometimes I need to go in there and I need a light on so I can do what I need to do...
Haha...that's me with my boy Godrick! He hates me no matter what I try, so far. I don't force it though. I haven't had him long so I keep holding out hope that he might at least hate me less as he sees I'm not trying to kill him and I give him a ton of treats lol.
People here care and want to help, but they won't try if they feel they're going to be jumped on by the person asking for help for suggesting things that are helpful for them to understand what's happening to your boy. Nobody here is trying to attack you or make you feel bad. But you are making...
Which was exactly why they were asking you for more insight on what exactly you find abnormal about your chameleon's behavior. You know him. If you are going to be defensive and get offended by every little observation people here are making that could affect your chameleon's well being, people...
Nobody was ridiculing you. They were asking what the problem was because other than pictures showing his coloration, you gave them no other information to work from. The help form will help with that along with you giving some insight on his behavior. You weren't giving any specifics.
I showed this to my kiddo and she said I'm wrong. The Cham is actually thinking..."The things I do to entertain these primitive humans. I better get a treat for this." *sigh*
Hahahaha!!! What went through my mind.... in chameleon mind you...
Was this:
"I don't know who this fool is, but I think I'll go ahead and hitch a ride. Carry on, my good fellow!"
