    Sambava

Yea every now and again I see a female in with a male if he’s trying to sell as a pair but never males together . No panther makes it past a day or 2 in that place before someone buys em up

    Sambava

I just picked up a panther the other day from a pet shop I go to he said it was a Ambilobe but I’d like to say Sambava. I asked him to dig a little deeper for me but I’m not sure how far that will go..

Could have something to do with it not to sure. That is an extensive time period to induce diapause for panthers In my opinion.

Females become receptive and lay eggs multiple times a year in there natural environment. diapause is not needed.

My incubator was a mini fridge I turned into an incubator with heat tape and an inkbird thermostat regulator. Fluctuated between 74-75 for 9 months I did end up with more boys just a few then females but consistently on different breeding projects. I wish you the best and find what works for you...

    Anybody know Greg Meehan??

@dshuld is the one who knew my old male was from him just off the pic of the sire. but he hasn’t been on in awhile and I don’t think his phone number is the same anymore. But I figured if he knew him and is in Florida maybe others knew of him.

lower temperature you get female, higher the temp you get male. I kept my incubator between 74-75 degrees and get a mix of male and female

Panther saves his poops for freeroam time?

I’ve had so many panthers, when I would bring them out I always knew a big poop was coming. It never failed with my older panthers more so. my vaileds never did that or my Jackson’s.

Chameleon Hydration and a Drinking Glass....?

I would drink from the floor if I had to and wasn’t getting it sufficiently. Gota do when in need. But always a big difference between surviving and thriving.

    Need some habitat advice

Just a tip also, if your misting system is on a timer try to turn off the heat lighting 10-15 mins before it misting and keep them off I’d say for another 15 mins to reduce heat, with so much moisture in the air it’s just asking for respiratory infection with the more heat you have. I do also...

Chameleon Hydration and a Drinking Glass....?

I keep a big hibiscus in the cage, not only do I mist, after I shut the heat lights off for 20 mins to reduce heat with moister. I keep a dripper ( water bottle with a pinhole) on top of the cage to where it makes it’s way down the leaves and collects in the base of the plant pot so there’s not...
