You'll eventually look at your enclosure with all fake stuff and actually change your mind seeing how much live plants make it look better and feel better for your cham. Along with the pros... I wouldn't also get too hung up on the differences in humidity between panther an veiled.. either or...
Yeah I was gonna say something but thought it'd be rude lol... but yeah... what does he know about these particular animals lol but your doing well taking a stand for your pet
Chameleons have one the highest particular care compared to most animals... their vines are like their beds and exercise systems. Think like a bird cage with one perch... would you be comfortable lol. Good job though.
Much much better... you see he will be exploring more up top. Going from branch to branch.. they love the opportunity to visit the vastness of the enclosure lol
That saying also applies to me on a daily basis... when I'm working I can go non stop and then run errands and then do more stuff.... on my date off I sleep in... get up watch TV have coffee and have no energy to go out and do something fun cause I stay at rest haha... but I enjoy it at least
So, if you have a 18inch or 24 inch wide enclosure, id go with the 24 though, cause if you have an 18 inch, odds are youll need to get a larger enclosure as your guy gets bigger.
I see you have a fogger. Just making sure your also giving him misting sessions? those he needs for drinking. also foggers aren't the best option, when you can look into an auto mister.
There's no specific budget. you can use whatever fixture works. Just find the right size and price them out on several websites then just get corresponding bulb.
Looks beautiful, just two suggestions. you can keep the double fixture but get the linear UVB bulbs, give chameleon full coverage no matter where he is. Those spiral UVBs only project straight downward. And the thing that matters most is the top half of the enclosure. Chameleons like to be...
Can try using the shower... look up on youtube for info on that... he needs to be misted indirectly by putting the shower head facing the wall an bouncing off... luke warm water..and a tree or something he can hold onto
If you free range your crickets... odds are theyll lose some of their dusting rubbing on leaves and vines.. id personally rather them be coated then just lightly dusted
Yeah i know. And youve had him for so long... its more likely cause hes stressed from his eye annoying him so hes not doing what he usually does... just a guess though... .just like us.. when were nauseous we dont wanna eat
