Official Enclosure Picture Thread #2 - post your pics!

Here’s mine with Leilu (juvenile female panther). Really cool to see how she climbs around almost every part of her cage (top to almost bottom), though, she favors certain areas and loves sleeping on a particular pothos vine.

    Won't open one eye?

Thanks Kinyonga, I appreciate it. The window’s fortunately a solid vinyl set and draft-free. He hasn’t ventured down from the top/canopy either, so I wouldn’t think the coleus is an issue (no signs of the plant being messed with either). I gave him water via a pipette tonight and am thinking...

    Won't open one eye?

I’m just saying... I’ve seen lots of requests for help but not much given, even if they provide the requested info. I know a vet is a more definitive answer, but also see that this is a fairly common issue and there are experienced owners here - yet, finding answers is quite the Easter egg...

    Won't open one eye?

Frustrating that there don’t seem to be any good answers/responses to this. I’m having the same problem, but have only found countless threads of people asking for help/advice and nothing but snobby requests to fill out questionnaires and otherwise directionless answers if the questionnaire has...

    Cage setup

so, he tends to stay up all day by the heat lamp (85-90 degrees). i've seen him eat a few crickets, but haven't seen him move - nor drink. a little anxious/worried about that. i have the monsoon mister running every 4hr at 30 seconds each spray and also full a plastic cup to drip when i get...

    Dying plants

also, if you have spots on your leaves then I'd suggest cutting off their branches and washing (hot water and tiny amount of liquid soap - followed by a water bath/rinse). if the plant looks really bad, give it some fertilizer (can be liquid mixed in with its water). just make sure your cham...

    Dying plants

how often are you watering? i have an umbrella in my sun room and only water it once every 2-3 weeks. only needs minimal sunlight too so i'm guessing you may be watering too much.

    Cage setup

heh.. i think i'm really just wondering if it'll be too thick once he's fully grown. i'm also going to defoliate in some areas so to ensure walkways aren't overly obstructed, and for the vines to grow nice and long. i didn't buy any wood for this - i just collected from around my house. the...

    Cage setup

thanks justin! :) i'm aiming to have the pothos vines continue to grow, and arrange them around the branches (starting to do that in the pics). there's also places behind and under the pothos that i hope will be good for hiding when needed. that colorful plant is a coleus. besides loving...
