No problem! I've raised three from babies, - it's intimidating at first, but you learn very quickly

Essentially, yes. Slide your hand under the chin and down the belly and lift. I still do this even with my non babies, but it's an entire palm I use, lol. They may back up the first couple times until they understand what you're doing. I like to support them from behind with my other hand once...

Ok that's good! Normal baby stuff, they do grow out of it, for the most part. I scoop them from the front so they see it coming. Scoop and lift under the belly, never pluck them up like a bird claw. Also avoid passing your hand over the top of their head until they are comfortable and realize...

Closing eyes in which sense? Is he or she lethargic? or alert, but with eyes closed? Like with chameleons, eye closing can be a way to cope with discomfort. Beardies usually do it to decline stuff, like food. If he or she is closing one eye at a time and looking around with the other, it's...

It's nice to see her hold herself up, because otherwise she's just flat to a surface. I'm going to encourage floor time and movement daily to help with her mobility. Just waiting on that poop.

Lol it's all good, I watch both forums anyway. She's asleep on me right now. She has a habit of running to the edges of the room, might be a security thing since she's still very new here. At first I thought she was dragging one of her back legs, then realized Nah she's good, just kind of...

She's doing pretty well. She's enjoying her pumpkin, so much old shed is coming off. She's relatively mobile. She's willingly eating her morning greens, and has been getting a daily soak. No poop yet, just urates. More pumpkin!!!

I was holding him again last night and he fell asleep on my hand. I gave him a kissy on his side and he got mad at me :( He stared at me with a little chin puff like "don't."

Preparing for my first chameleon, tips appreciated

He is handling being handled like a champ. Very calm. He's not as afraid of the phone now, even trying to crawl around on it like ja ja would do. He's sitting like a doofus right now. Hard to believe it's been less than two weeks but has apparent growth. He had about 6 crickets today

Just gave her soak. About 2ml of pumpkin into her and a few drops of olive oil. I really broke up a lot of the stuck on shed. Her colors are coming out
