Well, I have both schefflera and pothos in my cage. Is this something I should be concerned about? I have a panther... is this just a thing with veileds?
Hey Charlie thank you so much! The worm thing kept bugging me lol but that definitely makes me feel more at ease. He is still not eating and I'm not really sure why. I've been so meticulous about making sure his husbandry is on point. He's not even touching the hornworms now which are his...
Thank you for taking your time to go through my post. I tend to write a lot lol. There was a post regarding hand misting a few days ago. I went through it and participated a little and decided I was gonna start hand misting again. I'll follow your advice and do a long misting session...
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male amilobe panther. He's about nine months old and has been in my care for 4-5 months.
Handling - Once every 1-2 weeks.
Feeding - Crickets and super worms mostly. I gutload my crickets with kale, oranges, , and the occasional veggie scraps that are on the safe...
He just ate two pretty decent sized worms :) I’m just happy to see him eat! I was starting to get worried that he wasnt getting any calcium or vitamins and he’s still in the growing phase. Thank you so much for your help.
As some of you might have already read on one of my previous threads, my little cousins have been staying in the house and will be here for at least another month. They have really been stressing my Chamaeleon out and he hasn’t eaten for at least four days. I just bought some hornworms for the...
Pothos are very beautiful I suggest them too. I have some in my enclosure and they're really hardy! Also look at the schefflera (umbrella plant). It's not for the top of the cage but theyre beautiful, and not toxic for chameleons. I have one in my enclosure and it's growing super fast! Maybe you...
Mine hates it too lol. He starts freaking out, stands upright on his two back feet and starts reaching out like crazy with his little hands for anything he can grab. It scares me because I always feel like he's gonna fall down so I stop misting him. Lately I only rely on his reptirain which...
That's great! Make sure you still make the changes people suggested. Even if he's healthy now, if he's not properly taken care of his health will eventually deteriorate and you'll have to deal with bigger issues down the road.
Glad to hear he's doing good though. Good luck :)
