A plant light question for the experts

Not sure. But it'll definitely block out an UV your UVB bulb is giving off, which is bad. (if you have that sitting on there too)

    Lighting

Like Mike said, your best bet is the Arcadis setups. This is what I use. For a cage that size, you can do the 12%. Just make sure you have shaded spots (live plants like a schefflera) that they can hide under when they want. It also has a 6.5k bulb to help with live plants...

    Securing plants

You can go to a Michaels, or any local craft store and get floral wire. Very thin and fit thru the screen holes.

    Cage Makeover

Bravo! Nicely done. I'm sure your little guy is MUCH happier now. And you can definitely use branches from outside. Just wet them and bake them to kill any parasites.

    ReptiBreeze Enclosure?

You want a glass enclosure for pygmys. Helps keep the humidity high, which is a much, and for other reasons. Here's a good caresheet. https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/pygmy/

Anything wrong with these fake vines?

Yeah, those would be ok. However, you may wanna run to your local Hobby Lobby (or even Michaels). They have a bunch of vines with bigger leaves. Hobby Lobby has 50% off quite a bit. Regarding your pothos not growing, do you have a plant bulb? I have this double fixture that has UVB as well...

    Insane Veileds

They may mellow out eventually. Or, that may just be their attitudes. I have a year old veiled that absolutely hates me, no matter how much I try working with him. He's always hissing, puffing up, and biting at my hand.

    Live plant help!

When I re-potted my schefflera I had the same issue. There were those tiny fert beads that were deep in the roots. I couldn't get them all, and have not had any issues.

    Live plant help!

Get off as much as you can. Wash all leaves with warm water and soap. Re-pot in organic soil. Cover soil with river rocks, and you should be good to go. :)

    Questions About Lighting

Definitely do away with the waterfall. They'll drink droplets of water off of leaves when you mist. Also, when running the dripper, make sure it's dripping onto a leaf. Like I said, a live plant is ideal. Looks nice. The leaves hold water droplets better than fake leaves. And the live plants...

    Questions About Lighting

Nope. No blue bulb. And there should be no light on at all when he's asleep. As far as UVB, this is the best "cheap" option you can go for. Can find at most Petcos. http://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-ReptiSun-Terrarium-Hood/dp/B00AQU8F2O But I, as well as everyone most here, would highly...

    Questions About Lighting

That light isn't sufficient enough. You want two fixtures. One for the basking light (can be a regular house light) and you want a linear tube UVB bulb. This is a great setup. Also has a 6.5k bulb in case you wanna add live plant. http://www.lightyourreptiles.com/24hot5dobufi.html Also...

Baby Panther eating little to no crickets a day

Try using a shallower cup too. It may be hard for his tongue to reach them in that one. Also, if he falls in he won't be able to get back out.

    Enclosure in the wall.

    My reaction to this thread.

Baby Panther eating little to no crickets a day

That cage is pretty big for him, so he may feel a little scared. Definitely add for foliage and vines/branches in there. He'll thank you for it.

quad with the arcadia 6 and 3 6.5 day light

Just when I thought I was content with my Tropic Blaze 2 bulb setup. Thanks a lot! I see a new setup in my future...maybe for another cham. :D
