    What do you think?

Sorry for such a late reply, Ive been pretty busy. His basking spot is 85 give or take a degree or so. Middle of his enclosure is 75. As for where he's done it, I've seen him do it everywhere. He will be moving in the middle of the enclosure doing it or up top walking along the basking branch...

    What do you think?

My boy bort is a year and 3 months old now and has been doing something strange recently. He's been gaping throughout the day but it's only a half gape. He'll walk around like this and then sometimes he'll yawn/stretch or he'll just close his mouth. Could it be because he's about to shed? One of...

    Start of mouth rot?

So I've been keeping the area clean and cutting the pointed legs from my roaches and crickets, even been feeding him silkworms for quite a while now and it hasn't gotten better or worse until I noticed something today. In person it looks like a separation of the top and bottom lip instead of...

Anyone's Cham tried to eat a rock?

I've had both on the same feed schedule for quite a while now. 12 crickets every other day, 1 super worm and 4 or so crickets on the other days. It alternates. However today I saw him try to chew up a small rock which covers the soil of the plants. Any ideas as to why? Should I feel him 12 or so...

    greenhouse ideas? help me

My grandpa has a greenhouse where he houses over a thousand different orchids. It has all sorts of monitoring systems, misters, hygrometers, heaters, etc, and he has kept frogs in there as well. The only issue was feeding. There aren't that many insects in a greenhouse and there's an abundance...

    Start of mouth rot?

I thought he was developing a UTI but the vet said he doesn't think so but had me administer baytril for a week to be sure. Haven't seen anything happen since. As for the cleaning, should I use the q tip just outside on the abrasion looking part or have him open up and wipe the inside along it?

    Start of mouth rot?

Just curious, since mouth rot is an infection, would I be able to treat it with baytril or just keep cleaning it? I still have a lot of baytril from when I thought he had a UTI and the vet told me the amount needed whenever I administer it for whatever reason.

    Start of mouth rot?

So today I was feeding bort and I noticed that his mouth on his left side looked off. Kind of wrinkled a bit? In the picture you may or may not be able to see it but it's where his lip looks like it's kind of dirty. When he chews, the corner of his mouth inside is pink and fleshy (maybe an...
