    Chameleon lying on perch

His light schedule is about 14 hours on and 10 hours off. I get up at about 5:20 and turn on his lights after I take a shower (I have to go to school). I turn them off at about 7ish and the room is completely dark. I also feed him after I turn his lights off in the morning. 10 crickets a day.

    Chameleon lying on perch

He seems to lie there the first half of the day and then gets up and goes towards the bottom where the humidity is highest. His basking spot hits about 80-85 degrees. I mist once in the morning at about 5:30 (I have to go to school) and 7 at night. I have a most that goes off every two hours for...

    Chameleon lying on perch

This is the calcium I'm using. I haven't given him any multivitamins yet because I read you only give it to them once a month along with calcium with D3. What multivitamin would you recommend?

    Low humidity

Hello everybody! I had a question on my enclosure for my 3 month old veiled. Ever since I've had him I've been having problems keeping his humidity up. It usually dips into the 40% area and is really hard to get it up from there. I have a mister that goes off every two hours for 60 seconds, a...

Gut loading crickets and feeding Cham greens and fruits

I just got a variety of greens and fruits to gutload crickets/fee Cham with (he may not go for them but it's worth a try) and was wondering what to feed the crickets and Rango (my veiled Cham)? I got the following: carrots, collared greens, oranges, apples and squash. How do I prepare...

    Substrate or no?

My setup. Too crowded possibly or good? I had trouble find tall enough plants that were also small. I have one pothos and the big umbrella plant.

    Substrate or no?

Well I have it to where if he needs to get out of it he just walks to the bottom of the cage. I just bought a mister off of Amazon yesterday so that part's covered. If I get real plants at say Home Depot, how do you get the pesticides off? Do I have to fertilize the plants at all?

    Substrate or no?

Hello. I was just recently talking to a petco employee about Chams and what to do to keep up the humidity. I have a fogger and a reptibreeze cage that is all mesh. I need the humidity to go up just a little bit. He said substrate (moss, bark, carpeting, dirt) were a good way to go. I also would...
