I knew about the don't grab from above or at all. Never do. I usually hand feed or I set the cricket I recently killed on her small feeding tray in her cage.

so yesterday I accidentally scared my baby veiled chameleon putting decor back in her cage, is there any thing I can do to sort of get back her trust?

Here she is!!! She was being a little brat today and hissed and squawked at me when I tried to hand feed her. As well as when I misted her leaves.

Got my new little veiled a few weeks ago, she has been happy and healthy since! Love her so much she's kinda my new best friend...except when she is in a bad mood and gets all hissy and mean.

Can't say I agree with you. My chameleon is growing great and in perfect health so just saying I seem to be doing stuff right.

I know what the problem is you have only fake plants, vieleds eat plants, get one quick I recommend pothos. And I mean quick! For your poo problem use pumpkin it helps them poop...apparently.

I have had my baby since she was three weeks, so here's some tips, First off, i recommend 6 1/4 inch crickets a day, and three waterings, for drinking, start by killing her crickets before hand feeding them to her, therefore earning her trust some more. If you don't hand feed set them on a leaf...

I agree definitely need at LEAST one real plant, my veiled had all fake plants the one day and got so mad she wouldn't stop hissing and puffing at me. I finally realized and got her some more around 3, but she was mad for a while.

I recently purchased a baby veiled as well and mine seems happy as is. I recommend no fake plants since they will eat leaves,if you do bye real plants get ficus,Pothos, shefflera abricola, or hibiscus. If you do have substrate, take it out it can be bad for them if they accidentally eat it...
