i usually put leftover substrate from my dads beardie that died like 7 years ago, he had a huge bag of it. and i dont need it for my geckos so i decided to put it to some use.

i feed him that once every 4-6 months and their pretty thin slices not a whole one either, probably 3 or 5 slices max

iv fed mine bananas, he seems very curious. and then finds out the hard way he cant shoot at them and he has to bite them instead

when my guy sheds i increase misting from 4, to 5 minutes and i aim it more at him to loosen it up and make it easier

he could also be dehydrated from being sick

can dehydration cause what he is talking about? it could be a mixture of dehydration and being sick. i would listen to @jajeanpierre.

probably some stuck shed. they rub their eyes on things to get shed off. Good Luck!
