Actually I've just recently been trying this, I think he finally ate one but I'm not 100% sure. Either way I'd like to add a bit more variety to the food I offer.
Honestly just something that is easy to breed doesn't smell bad and my juvenile veiled can swallow it. he's not a baby anymore, I don't know his exact age but I'd guess he's around 7 months.
I've been putting my crickets in 10 gallon aquarium. I've been getting them from rainbow mealworms and the first few times they lasted a long time and now they keep dying off. If I decide to give crickets another try I will keep them in a large tub and I will make sure to give more food. They...
Update: Im strongly considering red runner roaches and green banana roaches. If anyone has anything positive or negative about these roaches they'd like to share it is appreciated.
Anyone have any recommendations for staple bugs other than dubia and crickets for my young veiled? Idk why but he doesn't always accept dubias and I am sick of crickets because the smell horrible and are very fragile and seem to die more than I would like. Honestly I don't really care what kind...

The enclosure looks nice to me. But I really think that screen enclosures are the way to go. I've heard of people keeping chams successfully in glass I wouldn't recommend it.

Well I've never had this happen to me, but the safest way to get her down (that I can think of) would be to get a ladder and a fishing net from Walmart with the longest handle possible, and gently attempt to sneak the net under her and maybe she'll climb onto the net and if not scoop her into...
When I first got him, the first time I ever saw him drink I didn't have any real plants yet, and I thought he was eating the fake plant so I flipped out lol. But I haven't seen him eating the fake plants but I've noticed a few bite marks on the live.
