I believe it is a male. Kind of hard to see from those pictures tho. If it is a female I highly doubt you have to worried about it being gravid as I do not see any indications of a gravid female plus that chameleon looks to be about 3 months old. Did they breeder give you an age ? See if you can...
Looks like hemipenal prolapse. You’ll want to apply sugar water to it to try and bring the swelling down in hopes that it will go back in. You can very gently try to get it back in with a qtip once the area has been soaked in sugar water, moist qtip ofc. If it does not go back in soon you will...
Ditch the night time heat totally. Looks up gutloading on these forums. By the looks of it you have a double fixture with a compact UVB light, upgrade that to a linear T5 HO uvb light Arcadia makes a good one id go with the 6% bulb, zoomed also makes a good one although its life time is shorter...

I flipped it over and I can confirm there is no red hour glass. I killed it before I got a chance to take a pic. These have been popping up around my feeders bins. Any solutions?
Correct, If you flip them on there back males have 2 or 3 smaller scales on the bottom of there abdomen while females have one larger one. Only way i know of to sex them.
If you’re looking for good uvb penetration, look into metal halide lighting. They get a bad rap around here but if used properly with a solar meter they work great.
Great stuff pond and stone foam is prefered, although ive used used the regular tan colored Great stuff gaps and cracks without an issue. Youll need a 100% silicone none with mold inhibitors or any of that. IMO the longer it sits the better, i usually dont add the chameleon in for 2 weeks...
Have you thought about converting their cages into Bioactive ? Or do you think your wife would be opposed to the idea of microfauna and isopods in the cages. Id be careful with the air fresheners, im always wary of air fresheners and oil diffusers and such releasing chemicals into the air near...
