For the Zilla uvb light you will have to take off the clear plastic covering the light. Plastic filters out uvb.

Maybe you should ask him nicely to stop biting you.

Maybe you could try breeding your own insects. It sounds interesting and you wouldn't have to go to the store for food!

I don't live in the mainland but in Hawaii there is a wild population of Jackson chameleons. I found one when I went hiking! Maybe you should go on a hiking trail where you live and look carefully?
