Chameleons are extremely sensitive animals and require vary precise and correct husbandry on the keepers part to survive. I applaud you for taking control.
Your enclosure should be a min of 24x24x48 for an adult nothing less.. they are expensive animals there is no getting around that.. if that...

You did everything you could for him. I'm sorry for your loss. I have been following pickles story since you originally posted about saving him. You are a great kind of person for doing what you could to make his life better. I hope you find some peace in hearing that.
Adorable! I keep all my kids art work but that is a masterpiece for sure my daughter likes to paint this one will forever live on the fridge we have a great sence of humor in our household. :ROFLMAO:
You can put it in a clear plastic bag and put in the fridge and take it to the vet for an Id could be pin worm or even tapeworm if not larva.. I would get it Id tho just to be on the safe side.
I would hate to see a Venus fly trap catch a feeder and my chameleon go for it.. If consumed by a chameleon you are 100% sure it's not toxic? You can guarantee the chameleon won't be harmed once so ever? I don't see why you would want to take that risk?
One more thing I would take out the Venus fly trap I'm sure some have said it is ok to have it in there but why have it in there is the question it would compete with your Chameleon for food it is a carnivorous plant and it is toxic.. Vailed chameleons are known for eating plants munching on...
