That's a really good point about the smaller cage feeling safer. My rabbit is like that, but I hadn't considered it with him. I had considered putting a plant next to the cage as you mentioned so maybe I will take trip to the nursery today instead of the petstore. Thanks! (y)

Enzo is 8 or 9 months now. Do you think it's time for a bigger enclosure? his current enclosure is 45" high 16" deep and 22" wide.
