HAHAHA,i remember the first time i ever saw a cham do this " OMG whats in his eye!!!??" lol..as for handling, if you cham is not trying to run away from your hand when you put it in the cage, and doesent puff up, open mouth, or hiss you are good to go... eventually they become buddies with you...
good advice, and yes most of the time they actually are irritated, my chams are aggressive when they are shedding, but my male will actually rub against me like a cat when he is in shed mode, its kinda cool.:D
Thank you!, and yeah all of my chams are oddities, they love attention for some weird reason, they will run to me to be held..its in some of my other vids..
So its been awhile since my last vids (ive been busy flying aircraft demos at shows around the US) and i finally had some time to do a lil project on a fogger system that works for free ranges (since i only free range 24\7) well this was what i came up with on the first try (this is what we call...
one more thing to consider, mantids eat almost or as much as a cham that size, to have properly gutloaded mantids, thats alot of feeders even just to feed the mantids..plus mantids are also awesome too, its hard to feed them off ..:D
i keep my chams free range only, and my set up (the whole room) stays around 70-75 in the day (with basking sites at 83-87) with nightime drops as low as 65 max lowest otherwise the ceramic bulb kicks in..
snake knows whats up, good advice from him..try and keep it around 68-72 at night...
I would assume staining? (smells untill it dries completley) but would look awesome showing all the grains of the wood..
Great build!! cant wait till its in action!:D
definatley a good start..with warmth they will grow fast, if you want them to stay smaller for longer keep them at cooler temps(like 73-75) and keep them well hydraited (i actually mist the adults once a day plus they have cottonballs soaked in water, plus whatever fresh fruit and veggies to...
agreed..you may want to just opt into 500 pinheads and keep them cool, and gutloaded.. try and convince the mom, that its for the chameleons well beeing to keep a few large ones to make some smaller ones for cheaper than buying them {eventually you can either buy more and keep them, or in the...
Ied say you have to try both out, and figure out what way is best for you..personally i like incubators, but some can fail (exo-terra) and others are extremley expensive for a reliable unit (one that heats and cools)..the choice is yours, its really all about personal experience..:D
