I got one last week, they didn't find anything but I honestly think I may get another one because it really seems like it may be a parasite. The vet didn't seem very knowledgeable
Thank you. Yeah she noticed it right away, saw her get a few drinks. I just want her to get better now. Should I let it run for like an hour at a time or what? Or slow drip throughout the day?
i have a 4 month old veiled chameleon. i noticed she seemed a bit dehydrated and lathargic a couple days ago so i increased her mistings and put a dripper in her enclosure. Anyone know about how long it takes until they rehydrate themselves or when I can expect to see some improvement? Her...
I ordered a bunch of hornworms because I heard they like those and strangely enough she didn't eat one. She does like silk worms though. This last month or so she has been particularly picky. I just got some soldier fly larvae and I'm gonna wait til they pupate then feed them to her because she...
I have been trying for a few weeks. She will eat them here and there. I don't mind free ranging but I just like to know for sure how many she is eating. Don't want the crickets sitting in there overnight or hiding down on the floor of the cage.
My veiled chameleon will look like she's going for the crickets or silk worms I have in her feeder cup, get up real close like she's gonna snatch them then just stares. She will stare for like 20-30 seconds then go back to her spot. What's up with that?! Any advise? Thanks
The vet actually said virus not infection, but still was not specific. Kinda of irritates me because that was a $100 vet visit with no answers. I've tried to follow care sheets to the T so I just don't get it, very frustrating. Like I said she will go nuts over flies or moths when I throw them...
her urate and poo seem normal, white. In my opinion the vet was not very knowledgable. He said he would give baytril as a precaution for an infection. He didn't think it was a respitory infection.
I got her tested for parasites, it came back negative. A couple weeks ago I was pretty scared, she was super lathargic and sleeping during the day. The vet prescribed baytril because he thought she could possibly have an infection. I've given her like 4 doses she seems to be doing much better, a...
Yes she gets spooked very easy lol. She didn't like me getting in her cage and snapping a pic. She's a grumpy one. Well I got her from petco, she was the smallest one in the cage and I just had to have her. They didn't know her sex or age, she was tiny so I'm thinking she's around 31/2- 4 months.
