That's so funny! I wish my beardie was still with me. Also, congrats on the new chameleon! He looks very healthy, and I think you'll do great with him.
The only difference of behavior is that I see him at the bottom of the cage on a vine when I get home, then he comes up the the top of the cage when I walk in the room.
He is still dark. I only open the cage for misting and food. Do you think I should open the cage and see if he wants to come out? He is scared of my hand I know.
He had a shed about two days ago. Nothing new to the enclosure or new animals and pets. When ever I get home from school, he is close to the bottom of the cage. Then he'll come running up the vine to the front of the cage. That has only been happening for about 2 days.
A normal vet will not treat your chameleon properly. You will need to go to a specialty vet for reptiles. Yes, they are difficult, but they are not as challenging people will make them out to be. They do require a lot of attention though.
I'd love to see pics. My little chameleon I bought from him is doing very well, he has been eating and drinking perfectly!
I go to there a lot, but we asked and they were only nosy be, and we were in the market for an ambilobe.
