Paid 375 all total for my fella. But he was a sight unseen Kammers cham. Some of them they sell you get that exact animal this was a they pick for us we just chose gender and told them colors we'd like to see. Yes he's a baby so its anybody guess what he'll actually look like but they're a great...
I use them also. No issues with them at all. Postal service has been subpar but its not their fault. They have not run out of crickets yet at all. And their roaches are very viable.
I didnt think it would be too much more complicated than the frog enclosures. I used pond foam, carved it, siliconed bark fiber on, let it dry good then built my plants and such from there. I bought planter pots I sealed into the foam but used straws to make drainage holes and cut the straws out...
Ah I see what you mean. Well this would just be for one chameleon. If i do do it i will upgrade the cage first to the 2 x 2 x 4. Hes in a smaller one right now 18 x 18 x 36 only 3 mos old. I plan to upgrade him soon but wanted to consider bioactive.
Been thinking about going bioactive. Is it that difficult? I keep dart frogs and have a bioactive for them, is it that far off from a cham bioactive other than different plants? Just curious about thoughts.
I absolutely love bsfl they are great. We have a gecko that goes crazy for them. The cham eats them, and the dart frogs like them as a treat periodically. All around great feeders and they keep an extraordinarily long time. Great to keep on hand in a pinch if you run out of crickets or he takes...
If it helps I order my crickets from Rainbow Mealworms site. They offer a subscription plan and so far haven't had an issue with them being out of stock or anything.
Didnt order from FL Chams. Tried to contact by message, email, text, and call. Had questions about their veileds got no response from any outlet there. So they lost my business before they had it. Do not order from backwater reptiles! Never have but heard enough horror stories. Ordered mine from...
Thanks! Looked like hes got it pretty taken care of mostly. Lol just surprised me. I thought oh lord did he choke on something and turned dark. He was a dark muddy brown when I first went in, he lightened as I got closer.
I go in to check on our little one to make sure he ate and I see this...very dark with white patches. I'm like oh my god what's wrong with him. After I got closer hes shedding! There was no sign of shedding when I fed him a few hours ago, suddenly there's shed! Had no idea they would shed that...
I'm glad to know I wasn't seeing things. I thought it looked like she had eggs but nobody had mentioned it thus far. Being new myself I didn't want to comment something that may not have been true lol.
