Are you sure? I've read everywhere that Veileds require hotter temps than other species.

Here is my tank that I just setup for a Veiled chameleon, I'll be getting my Veiled on the 11th. My basking spot is 95.4, and normal temps are 82.3. I have a umbrella plant, golden pothos, and a dracaena. I have all the normal chameleon bolbs, and some 6500K CFL for my plants.

Hello! I'm thinking of getting substrate for my cage when I set it up. I was thinking using Miracle Grow Organic, then covering it with large river rocks or leafs? Please tell me if this would work, if not then could you tell what would work well? Thank you!

But I've read that you cant have substrate with chameleons because they might accidently eat it. What did you use then?
