Because we bought the Cham kit and learned out of our mistakes, but don’t want to waste all of the money spend.
I now use my double dome for basking and plant light.
I’m trying to remember....Joshi's ABG mix
Joshs Bio bedding
There is organic charcoal in there too
I topped it off with sunshine mix last month.
Oh... of course leave litter, CUC
It seams to work pretty well and I haven’t seen her eating it yet.
Good, I don’t feel so bad. Gives me something to do in my days off. ;)
I’m gonna check the link too, I think I actually looked st it a while ago. Time to take a closer look
Thank you!
I mean... I’m expecting her to dig soon to lay eggs. My Bioactive layer is about 7 inches tall.
I used to have a laying bin in it, but someone on here thought it was funny (because we obviously can’t train Chams to lay eggs in a bin)
Anyway, I removed the bin and added some substrate.
I went to a garden Store and found a thick stem umbrellas plant. It cost me $18, but my Cham loves it. The stem is a lot thicker than on the regular plants you buy at Lowe’s or Walmart. It’s like a little mini tree.
So I’m preparing my Bioactive culture and everything I need for my Medium Tall Atrium Clearside (30″W x 23″D x 48″H). (Which I should be getting soon, I hope)
I wanted to order the deep subtrade tray, but shipping would cost me almost as much as the tray itself.
So my question is... how bad...
I always wanted to experience it at least once, breeding. I was tempted to put my male with my female the other day... but knowing what I know now about even giving away veiled Chams... na!! I’ll end up having 50 Chams. I would end up homeless.
Long story short... I already have two cages, and they are expensive, I can’t take his Cham... So I’m helping him out trying to rehome his
I know he bought the basic Cham kit, so we know the cage is too small. He did buy a linear light, he doesn’t know what kind. Has a bunch of fake plants in...
Can I just say, that I love what I’ve learned on this forum. I can correctly answer all of the new owners question, and that make me happy.
I’m still not confident enough to publicly post my answers, but I’m getting there. For now I’m just sitting back, reading and hoping that all Cham owners...
That’s exactly what it is. Omg it’s a freaking roach. Why don’t i have any adults? Wondering if my fern that i just bought brought them in. Throwing that sucker outside.
I found some in the kitchen and some by the patio door near my fern. None in the Cham room.
I’m about to really freak out
It’s freaking me out... and all I see is tiny ones. The identification page doesn’t really help me much. I already googled the hell out of it. It almost looks like a black and white mini roach.
Please don’t tell me this is a roach... my house is clean and I am freaking out. It’s very small.
I’m pretty careful with my Dubias and crickets... so I’m not sure how this could’ve gotten out, but I found a few in my house.
