    Gecko sitting

My Leo enclosure is just next to my cham enclosure. He is very easy to take care of. And he comes out of his hide whenever he wants, even in the day. He sleeps in his hide and sometimes on his favorite piece of rock. He's really really chill that I can just go grab him and hold him and he would...

What type of bug is this

They don't harm humans, and eat pest insects like ants and termites. You could have put it outside though.

Why are fatty feeders considered bad?

Does that mean dubia is our future protein? And fried superworms are the future fries?

    Investigation In Progress

I have been reading all of the threads and posts regarding this unfortunate situation. Most of my thoughts have already been covered by several members here. But regarding the warranty, if certain parasites take longer to be tested for results then the warranty should cover it specifically.

Has anyone used nematodes for gnats.

Carnivorous nematodes kill microscopic critters like mites, springtails, other nematodes too.

Lucky for me, I don't experience winter. I live right at the equator. The mulberry trees here flourish all year round.

    Help me pick out plants!!

I am a fan of purple/red plants so those are in the chameleon enclosure. But if there's insufficient light, the red hue will disappear and it will just be a green plant. Btw the wandering jew are flourishing in my enclosure and currently competing with the pothos.

    Friendly Chameleons

Coyote is awesome but he doesn't really educate in terms of animal husbandry so that's why I didn't include him.

    Friendly Chameleons

First of all I also recommend watching Clint's reptiles. And also snake discovery and GoHerping. As the others had already said, chameleons are not beginner friendly reptiles. Leopard geckos, African fat tailed geckos, crested geckos and all geckos are the easiest reptiles to keep, even easier...

    Stop supporting petco/petsmart

My stance on this is with James. Don't buy their animals and give them profit and bring in new animals to sell. There's no peaceful happy solution to this. The big pet corporation aren't about welfare of the animals, they want money. You can't discourage or persuade them from making money. You...

New Chameleon Mamma - Advice much Appreciated!

Please do not handle him so regularly especially new chameleons. Letting him fall asleep on your lap is a big NO. He is not a dog. Your supplement, misting and lighting details are lacking. And you did not answer another member regarding whether if he's tested positive or negative for parasites.

Hatching Silkworms... WHAT was I thinking???

Ya I raise a 100 of them for my hedgehog and it wasn't fun. I used mulberry leaves which I store in the refrigerator. I feed the silkworms in the morning and at night. I had to manually transfer them onto the old leaves each time. And my hedgehog wouldn't even eat them, the picky a******. So a...
