Tegu is too huge a lizard for me. I'm already deciding on the next pet after my hedgehog is gone, a hedgehog has a very short life. My options currently are crocodile skinks, fat tailed gecko and hognose snake.
Someone actually ask me if I wanna buy one. But since I have not done much research, I quickly turn him down. I see conflicting light requirements for them.
I have a red runner colony(a few thousand), a dubia colony(a few thousand), a bunch of crickets that I buy twice a month and also superworms that I buy twice a month. I have a number of animals to feed. I'm now wondering if it's expensive to use bug burger as a main source of gutload.
So recently there's an explosion of grain weevils in my dry gutload. I have been seeing the weevils everywhere, in the roach bins, superworms tub and crawling around on the floor of my room. I kill like a dozen of them a day. So I have been thinking of switching to bug burger, can I make a tub...
Turns out I have way too many, I have another 20+ bsf appearing. I can't just feed him bsf all week right? I can feed to my tarantulas but there are still way too many bsf. I still have a tub full of them, estimated 150 of them, half of them are either pupa or dead because I can't tell the...
He usually does amphibians paludarium, I think he did a crested gecko which should be similar to a cham enclosure. BTW @Daesie11, he just did a bioactive orchid forest which looks incredible.
I have two misting sessions. First one start 30 mins after lights on and another one at 5.30pm. Both sessions last for 5 mins, I find that my cham usually takes a while to start cleaning his eyes and drinking so he needs the longer sessions.
Not weird, I have 3 types of moss spread around the bottom. Java moss, Holland moss and star moss. I like moss lol.
Edit: oh btw for vivarium design and plant arrangements I recommend SerpaDesign, he's my inspiration and extremely gifted at what he does.
