I believe nick is talking about English ivy. If you go the ivy route which is also an excellent option, make sure not to use the ivy that branches out off of the main vines. That is poison ivy, which you will still get even though it doesn't have it's leaves at the moment.

I will tell you from personal experience, raising babies is a journey. But, you should probably get experience with just raising a juvenile before jumping in the deep end so to speak.
