Sometimes my veiled would start to going up and down his cage over and over until I open his cage, funny thing is that when I open his cage make some solid eye contract for 20 minutes straight until I leave...... he’s one WIERD character honestly

To be honest it kinda does sound like a tad too much, but when their babies they eat like crazy so it’s not TOO much. He looks nice by the way.

I’m not a pro, but that’s kinda what they do Also depends on the species but for the most part, in captivity it’s what they do, normally they'd be wondering the rainforest but their cage is their world and safe spot, once they make territory and know every corner they chill

Just wondering guys ( and gals ) how much bigger he’ll get and if some colors come with age For example: I’ve seen various pictures of other bigger veileds with a blue hue in their under stomach area and more yellow, do they get these colors with age?
