Hello people,
I have a male veiled chameleon (jimbo) who is about 2-3 months old according to the helpful people on this forum (: I’ve had him for 2-3 weeks now and I recently solved a huge problem I ran into. I had too much substrate at the bottom of my cage, making it get stinky and puddly...
I’ll probablt stick with the fruits and veggies then. I saw apples bananas and grapes aren’t good for them in terms of gut loading for a chameleon so I’m sticking to parsley and mangos. I actually was wondering too, is it okay to just wash up the veggie or fruit and put it in the container I’m...
Okay awesome. I was also watching a YouTube video for a DIY in gutloading for dubias and the lady used oatmeal and a bunch of reptile supplements. Do you think this would be better or should I stick with the natural fruits and veggies?
Hello all,
Just got my shipment of roaches in (50 of them 3/8” which turns out is too small ):) and was wondering if anyone knows if it’d be better to gutload them with an oatmeal formula or if the roach chow from Dubiaroaches.com would be okay? I have a male veiled chameleon (2-3 months) and...
I was actually thinking to put him on my desk for the same reason, to have him next to me while I’m on my computer but I was afraid he’d be stressed. Maybe I’ll bring him over when traffic slows down in my room, to make sure he’s comfortable with me.
Haha, it’s just to keep him secluded and away from traffic. I have a room that people go in and out of all the time and I just wanted to avoid getting him stressed, at least while he’s still young. It’s not up all the time, I keep it down while I’m home typically. Do you think it’s unnecessary?
So here are two series of photos for everything... gonna have all my stuff as well as some photos of him. For the Urates I actually didn’t realize that it’s the white portion of the fecies. Put my mind at ease to see it’s not pure orange or anything like that, it seems to be mostly white with...
Also here’s that sheet to fill out in case someone asks/when I replied after someone asked for it, I never got a response /:

Hello,
I have an about 2-3 month old chameleon that I got about two weeks ago. Aside with my issue with feeding him I’ve run into what I don’t know for sure is an issue. Basically, I don’t ever see him drink and idk if I should be worried! I saw him drink for the first time a couple of days ago...
Yeah, that’s an old pic I believe but that is along the lines of how I was attempting to feed him. Now with the roaches it’s a bit easier when I put them on the ceiling because they can’t go and hide!

Well, this is why I was saying I was feeding him as a snack. I had ran out of dubias and so did petco so I had to grab something in the meantime. The ones in the bowl are super worms but meal worms are also what I give him sometimes when I run out of the roaches.
