I swear, my nosy Faly named Kahuna has picking & expensive taste! I love him to death but boy can he get my blood pressure going at feeding time...which is every morning since he is just about 6 months old. Basically he refuses to eat crickets!! He used to eat them the first month or so I got...
Hello, love this website! I enjoy learning everything I can for my 5 month old Nosy Faly named Kahuna! I built his enclosure completely by myself & hopefully he is enjoying his home to the fullest! It is mostly bio-active with springtails but I wanted to add isopods but wanted to know what...
They are so annoying?!! I actually found that sweet spot on mine & haven’t touch it since! I remove it at night & set it by the sink so the dripper continuously drips into the sink & I put it back up top in the morning. Also, I have a MistKing & highly recommend it!! I didn’t even bother looking...
So I’m very interested in adding bee pollen powder to my feeding routine! I checked out Amazon but thought it would be better to ask the experts where I should buy & what brand?? I am also wondering how often I should add it to my weekly dusting schedule? I have heard mixed things! I have a male...
Thank you so much for the info!! I got my guy to eat a Dubia roach right when he first arrived but since then, he wants nothing to do with them! I usually tong feed him (but he is “very” slowly learning to cup feed...trying to find the best place for the cup is difficult). Also, who is James0o0...
So I got my male Nosy Faly Panther a month ago & I’m trying to get him on a well balanced diet with lots of variety. Obviously I’m mainly feeding him crickets but want to get him onto other staple feeders. He is not to into Dubia Roaches so I recently ordered Black Soldier fly larvae from Josh’s...
Thank you everyone!! I giggled the bulb & let it sit for 30 minutes & thankfully it turned back on!! Weird, that’s the second time it has done that! Just got it about 2 weeks ago. Seems like if I just tap the fixture, the bulb turns off! Must be super sensitive?. Thanks for the help!
Hello, this is probably a stupid question but I was fiddling at the top of my enclosure & accidentally tapped (ever so lightly?) my Brand new T5 light fixture & the bulb went out! I have a spare but thought I would ask if anyone knows if it just needs time to cool down & will possibly work...
The other dimensions are 50” tall & depth of 22” (I custom built it, that’s why it’s different then the norm) but I was just asking about the light fixture itself. I did decide to keep it but just annoyed at the company for portraying on the box that the fixture fit a bulb almost end to end.
Interesting ? Just seems odd that they advertise it filling the fixture on the box. I call, false advertising!!!! Lol ? But I guess a couple inches more of light is better for my little guy so I’ll keep it??
So, quick quesh...I’m new to the world of chams & just got my baby nosy Faly Panther 2 weeks ago! He’s doing great but I originally bought him an 18” Zilla Tropical Slimeline T8 light fixture but read that the T5 is better...plus my terrarium is 30” long so decided to upgrade & buy the 30”...
Mine is doing the same thing! I just got my guy a week ago & I have a 100 watt bulb too but I do have it raised about 3-4 inches off the screen (I used a square cast iron plant stand that I had laying around & just set the lamp on top of that! It’s perfect!). But should I maybe go higher? My...
I’m new to the world of chameleons & just got my Nosy Faly Panther Chameleon a week ago today! He is doing great (I hope?) but I’ll tell ya, he is a lot of work! I already broke down & bought a Mist King today?! But my question is about feeding him Horn Worms...I bought a cup of them (about 4)...
So I’m just about to get my first Chameleon next week & I want his new home to run perfectly before he gets here! I bought 2 manual dial timers with additional pegs but apparently my snobby Shar-Pei Maui is getting all bent out of shape & nervous with the barely noticeable clicking that these...
