    Introducing Darwin (baby cham!)

Here is Darwin, my 10–wk old baby Rainbow Jackson’s. Doing his (?) best stick impression. I just got this little one tonight - currently residing in a baby bin until we’re a bit bigger. The sticks are big, looking for smaller ones. Hopefully the vines will work for now! I tried to give lots...

    Anyone in the PNW?

Thank you! I’m mostly worried about the tree types we have here and whether they’re cham safe.

    Anyone in the PNW?

If so - where do you find branches for your enclosures?

We’re in WA. I asked today - she doesn’t know how to safely ship. I’m sorry we can’t be more help!

I can’t speak too much to spider plants and soil, as I’ve kept mine in water. Sorry!

So I would cut where the blue is. Then pull off the leaf closest to the cut. Then you’ll pop them in water and make sure the part where you pulled off the leaf is under water, but the remaining leaves are out of the water. The plant itself will also grow leaves closer together if you give it...

She may! There are a couple of local shops willing to purchase the ones she doesn't have homes for. Where are you located?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this! I was born and raised in KY, and I have found so many gaps in my knowledge since moving to Seattle. There are things that I heard growing up that were "normal" in KY, that I've since learned can be offensive. I try my best to educate myself as someone...

With these guys you’ll need to let the cuttings dry out for a couple of days in a dark place before popping them in water! Then pop them in a glass of water with some rocks at the bottom so that only the bottom of the cutting is in water, not the whole thing.

I order the dry soil mix from Oh Happy Plants and mix them myself - saves on shipping! https://ohhappyplants.com/oh-happy-dirt/

I LOVE the Milsbo we converted to a greenhouse. I actually have to pop it open on occasion because it'll stay at like ~90% humidity if I don't!

A quick head's up that the plant community is trying to shift the name of these to inch plant/wandering dude. The original name is connected to a very anti-Semitic myth! https://bloomboxclub.com/blogs/news/why-were-no-longer-using-the-name-wandering-jew These guys propagate super easily! You'll...

Haha thank you! I’m planning to do a hanging garden setup and am growing out a bunch of philos and such. I’m a crazy plant lady.

On the plus side, they can go in the adult enclosure. 🤣 (Ft. a scrub sponge that has been through it, but is still smiling)

    Warning: New Reptibreeze Design Issue

Okay so his rec was JB Weld. They do have a Waterweld that is approved for potable water tanks. I read into some aquarium forums that say they've used the other forms (JB Weld and JB Kwik) without issue after calling JB Weld. The aquarium forums said the company, "saw no reason it could not be...
