Yeah, but the day I got these mealworms I ran out of crickets (the last few I had, died) so it was kind of unexpected and an emergency thing. I wanted to get some dubias but I couldn’t find any at the pet shops I go. Well- one of them had dubias but they were WAY too big.
Awwww!
I’m even doing some designs and taking inspiration to make a cool cage with cool deco and necessary stuff he’ll need.
I wanna add some figures at the bottom, maybe a muyai head ? or a buddha?
I changed the T8 5.0 bulb to a 10.0. That’s the first update. And I feel him more, awake if I can say so? More active?
Before anyone says anything about the T8, it’s almost impossible to find T5HO here. Not even on amazon, not even on pet stores. I do plan to save up some money and spend...
I think I’m getting overprotective on my cham so I’m waiting a bit to move him to a bigger enclosure hehe :,))
Pablo is adorable, btw! I’m aware of their grip but I’m just bein’ like that typical “just in case” yk?
Yeah! Most likely you’ll be washing the germs, cobwebs and bird poop off the branch. Pretty much what pet shops do! Haha. Also be careful with the dog please! Putting the obvious stress matters I’m sure you’ve heard about aside, you never know what will happen!
I don’t fear my small dog coming...
I know the feeling! Maybe add small small branches, the width of a finger minimum tho, if your cham is going to be so young, make sure to have sticks/branches for him to move around without having to stretch out so much to step on another branch. I have my cham in a 60 x 30 glass/mesh enclosure...
If you don’t happen to come across branches to buy, maybe go to a park and find some good thick branches that Mr.Bojangles can hold on to? Just make sure to deeply wash them with soap and make sure you rinse the soap off so there aren’t any bits of chemicals on the branch.
It looks great! I love how many live plants upu added!
Although this is just my opinion. I think it’s too big for a two month old cham. If I were you I’d add more thinner branches and make sure none of them are unsafe for your cham to climb on as it can stumble and have the cham fall or hit...
I have a baby veiled chameleon, and, he’s SOOO sassy! I’m waiting until I can work with him on trusting me, but at the moment I just gotta deal with him refusing to eat mealworms (I know they’re bad but this guy won’t even eat them as a treat, he loves crickets!) or staring at me from his...
I don’t know a lot about females as males are what I focused to learn about. But she shouldn’t be laying eggs until.. 5-6 months old I think? anyone, correct me if I’m wrong. If she’s younger than that then she’s just fat.
If you don’t want to deal with crickets jumping around your place if they escape, having some of them die often or, this is my biggest fear, having crickets bite your chameleon, (in case you plan to put them in the cham’s cage for him to hunt them and forgetting to take them out), I suggest you...
I see.
Do you think I can give them off to a turtle?
I heard superworms can bite their stomachs.
As for waxworms I’m trying to find some to buy for my cham.
I wasn’t arguing in any moment :,)) just pointing out my opinion. In fact I didn’t want to reply more in case anyone thinks whatever.
Not gonna lie here as far as I met good owners I met irresponsible owners too. But not all of them are bad. The day I got my cham this family at the pet store...
