No if the vet has taken care of the situation I would say she should be okay. My bad should have checked the whole thread I didn't realize she had already been seen. Here is hoping for a fast recovery.
P.S. This crap happens a lot at my age, especially this late at night time to put the PC...
20 is a little cold they can tolerate fairly cold temps, but when it drops down to 20 if it were me I would use a heat admitting ceramic heater. that way still no light to disturb him. I would try to keep it up to about 50 degrease at night doesn't need to be much higher they benefit from a cool...
I have my light come on at around 9:00am, off at 9:00pm. I don't have any lights at night, and I leave both my UVB, and heat light on all day. Sometimes in the winter they will go to sleep around 8:00pm because it gets dark earlier then. This is what works for me in my area, and climate. I hope...
I think he is just being a chameleon. maybe he is cold, and trying to absorb more heat. How does his enclosure look do you have plenty of vines, and leaves for him to find shelter? I really don't see anything that alarming to me. I just think he has a bit more growing, and developing to do.
From those pics I can't see any MBD. I would take her to a vet don't know for sure what is wrong, but I would guess it's something to do with a calcium deficiency. I know when dogs are pregnant, and loose to much calcium they get preeclampsia which causes them to loose all control of their legs...
Not a vet, but have seen gravid females before, and she looks gravid to me. Might want to make sure she has access to her laying ben with all this UVB issue.
Sorry to hear about your loss! From your pics he looked to be in good health sometimes it just happens like that. I had a female veiled that I just fed went outside for about 15 minutes came back in to find her on the floor of her enclosure dead. That's the thing with these guys sometime you...
I treated mine just like a Jacksons, and he done just fine. In fact the pet store sold him to me as a Jackson LOL. I never bred them so can't be of much help there.
I read a chameleon care book once "way back in the day" that the author said he had a male Jackson's live 16 years. I hope my boy reaches that. I believe it was this book
With all that red rain I would also agree with that assessment. Real hard too know for sure though could be a cross. He is pretty that much I'm sure of!
