oh, well that’s deffinently not the case here, she has about 10 inches of substrate in her cage, and she has been digging for like 6+ hours. i can’t see her at all anymore, before i could see her tail.
she can’t see me from the angle i peek in at, i have peeked in 2 times today. the first time i could see her tail, now i can’t see any thing....i’m assuming she is totally inside her hole. just hoping she’s not stuck :/
she has privacy, a sheet hanging over her cage. i covered it when i noticed she was digging. checked in for the first time when i posted this to see she was still digging.
update after removing the flag i had around her cage and the lime green towel i had covering the hole on the roof. last night she had some bright blue dots on her while she was sleeping as well.
i’m sure this question has been answered many times, however i can’t seem to find the thread. i will attach a picture of my current UVB light. i’m wondering if i need to switch the bulb from the 5.0 that cane included to a 10.0
these colors have been similar to the original photo for about 5-6 days now. i have worn various different clothing items. today i was in my room at my desk all day, wearing a white shirt and some athletic pants, she showed the same colors for pretty much the entire day.
i switched her UVB light from a t8 to a t5 and changed her bulb to lower temps as she was hot. this was about 3 weeks ago. other than that i had a lime green towel covering a small hole on the top of her cage for the past week, but nothing else.
