Hello all! I have been so busy with life that I haven't been able to get on here in a while. Just wanted to post a picture of Emma. She's doing great, and is the sweetest most outgoing thing ever!
Emma went through a period of time where she was always brown, but after a shed, she eventually went back to being green. She still changes, but is more often green. I think it's just something they do. At night she was always green while she was sleeping, too.
Good morning to you all! Emma's been quite busy over the last couple days! She started digging in the bottom of her cage on Thursday, and so I have her her laying bin on Saturday. She escaped from it 3 times throughout the day, so we put her back in her cage that evening to sleep. Sunday...
Emma has her pretty jammies on today! I offended her when I said they were her receptive jammies. She puffed up and hissed at me as soon as I said it! As if to say, "They are not! I am a lady!!"
I must have forgotten to post this picture last week when I took it, but here is Lady Emma at just a hair over 1 year old! She is still an incredibly sweet creature and a real treasure!
They all relax just before falling asleep. That's usually when they show the most vibrant of colors. It's because they are relaxed, so are the pigment sacs in their skin.
