It does and it is better than synthetic A..proformed from food and minerals....so since the body converts it only when needed and the rest of pass out of the body....it's not dangerous...can't be overdosed. and is more like food ...carrots and minerals from clay that are no longer in our foods...
keep him warm during the day closer to his basking light not over 85 degrees tho ...mine is 6 and he is in a smaller cage and sleeps on a shelf behind a plant as its harder now for him to grip... mist plants by him so its easier for him to drink hand feed highly nutritious feeders and treasure...
I would use organic be pollen fed to the feeders I use a cherry juice drop to stick some pollen to feeders but it wouldn't hurt to use 1 drop to moisten feeders for calcium powder as long as its organic and pure.IMO
cherries for the feeders do make such a difference, black cherry juice concentrate I rub a drop on the feeders for the calcium powder to stick!!! also.... dry, or frozen cherries as well fed to the feeders as well other vitamin C fruits like broccoli and citrus. and mist plants close to him one...
I have indoor cages and out door cages they are great with the transport back and forth and they have their special hangouts in both that I believe they remember and feel safe.:)
I have two older chameleons and they slow down, they do better when it’s warmer but not over 85 so I put them in smaller enclosures as they move around less and it’s important they can Bask when they need to. Also Do not overfeed plump it’s not a sign of healthy it’s easy to do because it’s fun...
