We have managed to get him to open his mouth but holding his head a n gently pulling on the skin underneath his mouth, we saw a video by Neptune. Feeding him bug juice. He’s a bit more active today but I know it’s a long way to go. 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Thanks casque, this is really helpful. He’s still refusing to eat, we’ve got bug juice but uninterested, I’ve tried getting his mouth open to syringe it in but he’s refusing. We are on day 5 of no food. Any tips on getting there mouth open? Thanks kelsey
Mountain dragon, I have not tried tong feeding since starting this thread, I don’t know where you are getting this from. My vet actually told me to tong feed after the operation. Please you are being rude not helpful.

Thanks so much for this advice. He’s not taken anything today. I got meal worms and calc worms he looked and walked away. I even pulled the legs of a locust so he could get it but he was uninterested. His op was only yesterday so maybe he’s still uncomfortable. I’m seeing the vet for a check up...
Hi sonny, sorry i didn’t explain properly. He swallowed his tongue and then we took him to the vets and it was surgically removed as the end had started dying.
