You have been so helpful, I can't thank you enough. I swapped out cages and ordered the vines. The light doesn't have very good reviews. I ordered a thing to keep the lights off the cage. Is that a bad idea? Is there another light that's good besides the one you recommended? And how do I lay the...
She hasn't laid any eggs yet, which I find kind of strange. I feel her belly ALL the time to see if I feel any little marbles in there, but nothing. She never goes to the bottom of her cage, she doesn't look gravid at all and every time I've put in a lay bun, she just beats the dirt.

Maui is a pied veiled cham. She's a year old this month. I have had her since she was about 4 weeks old.

It's not a fountain, my bad. It's like a cave dripper? I don't know if anyone has seen them? I'll link a picture.
I just changed her bulb back to the 60w. What can I do for her sides? Will they heal on their own or is there something I can out on them? I feel so bad.
I linked the dripper...
I JUST bought a new heat bulb for Maui's habitat. I switched it 2 days ago. She's a crazy girl and tends to climb on top of her cage, upside down. I went from 60w to 75w because she seemed cold. Her basking spot never seemed hot enough either. It stayed around 75/76* and she always seemed cold...
It does move pretty freely, but always goes back to the same spot... we only have one exotic vet in our area. I will definitely see if I can find another one before I head for surgery. She's pretty healthy otherwise. She loves being handled, she's chill and loves going outside. Just these eye...
She did say it was in a sac so in order to remove it, it would require a surgery. I'm in Michigan, about half an hour from Ann Arbor. Have you ever watched Dr Pimple Popper? Think of it like her having to go in and remove the whole "cyst sac" so it doesn't regrow. That's what the vet told me the...
Hey guys. It's been a minute. Maui is getting big, she'll be a year in October. She's fed gut loaded crickets, with an occasional horn worm. Not often, she's had 1 or 2. We've taken her to the exotic vet near us for her eye issues. She did a fine needle aspiration and it turns out, it's a cyst...
It's just the one eye. She does itch it, but not a lot. I'm not sure about the vet... I have to see if we have an exotic vet near us. I'm wondering if a piece of shed got in there or if it's a vitamin deficiency?
So, I think Maui has a cyst on her eye. It doesn't seem to bother her too much and it hasn't gotten any bigger. Is there anything I should do for her? Does it go away on its own? What should I do?
