Never new this. Good to know because I’m planning on getting a Veiled soon so should I try to start the misting at night only then when this lights are off?
Saw a video online about a guy using oatmeal, wheat thins, cornflakes and bee pollen but I don’t know how healthy it will be for the roache, seems like its only filler other then the bee pollen.

What I know is that parasite comes from wild caught insects that got it from their eniverment. I guess a breeder can have a insect that may contain parasites but it’s unlikely unless they are breeding their feeders outside.

do you add plants in the enclosure? Because I was thinking that the soil would need to get rid of the nutrients in it or it would just keep on building up, even with a cleanup crew and might become toxic in the future.
Has anyone ever done a bioactive enclosure for their Dubia colony like with plants and springtials/isopods? I was thinking of a tupperware with a mesh lid on it and grow light for the plant while having plenty of cork bark and a soil substrate as hides for the Dubias
Enclosing one side won’t harm your chameleon and in fact many people do it in areas that are dryer and needs more humidity to be trap in the enclosure. I’ve even seen some people put two panels on each side of the enclosure and the chameleons are perfectly healthy.
Hey guys, I’m planning on getting a baby veiled soon from fl Chams and wondering if the premium veileds are worth the price or Is the nicer coloration kinda random?
Have you thought about setting up a free range setup for him. I think you just have an active little guy that wants to explore because your enclosure is looking good.
Was watching Rango today with my niece and notice that Rango the beloved chameleon has mbd and even possibly egg bound.
Tbh it isn’t surprising considering how horrible his or possibly her setup was. Nevertheless Rango was still a good movie.
