Help!! I'm in WAAY over my head.

I will let one of the more experienced members tell you about female veileds and when they start to lay, but veiled chams in general do grow rather quickly. My male veiled (Leonard) was about the size of Dave(ina) when I got him in June, and he practically is over double the size. Now I know...

    Table/stand for enclosure

 Right now I just got the universal drainage system. I have not gotten a DS viv yet, so I'm still using a medium Exo-Terra for my juvenile/sub adult veiled. BUT..... Once he gets his permanent Dragon Strand cage, I will definitely be looking at these gorgeous stands! How do you get the...

    Baby and adult cages

Mine was pretty small when we got him. I found cup feeding to be the easiest solution. You can usually get a stainless steel bird feeding cup for fairly cheap. Easy to install and crickets have a hard time getting out.

    Table/stand for enclosure

I’m getting a Dragon Strand drainage tray for my enclosure and the dimensions for the tray are 25x25”. Could someone recommend a table or stand of some kind that could accommodate those dimensions? What do you guys use as a stand for your enclosures?

    Baby leopard gecko not eating

Just got a juvenile leopard gecko from a local reptile convention. Appears to be in good health and has all its toes. However, it’s been about 4 days since we brought it home, and it has only eaten 1 mealworm and 1 small cricket. Should I be concerned or is this normal? How long does it take for...

How old is your chameleon? Baby veiled are usually little pigs and will eat almost anything that moves.

Help!! I'm in WAAY over my head.

You should be gut loading your crickets. Fresh fruits and vegetables are the best, but if you need to pick up something fast, I have used Repashy Superfood as well. Some local stores like Petco have them occasionally, but you can also order it on amazon as well...

Help!! I'm in WAAY over my head.

Hi! Welcome to the forum! Sorry you've been thrown into this in such short notice. I'll try and point you in the right direction so you can start making some adjustments quickly. First, don't feed your chameleon mealworms. Their hard shell can cause impaction, which can cause his digestive...

Zilla Spring Caves... Good, Bad, or Ugly?

I recently saw this at a pet store in Reptile Supplies. Has anyone ever used the Zilla Spring Cave in their enclosures? I like the idea of giving my Cham some cover and water in one location. Thoughts?

    Tail looks weird...

Poop is regular color and texture. Urate is white and slimy.

    Tail looks weird...

He probably was. My cage got flooded with a new dripper, so I had to dry it out and let it sit for a while. Just misted him a few hours ago.

I have tried to handle him as little as possible, so I’m not sure. I’ll give that a try and get back to you.
