Usually, birth happens over several hours. So my guess is that she is done giving birth. It has been my experience that 5-6 babies make up the average litter (though I have heard of having as many as 9) when it comes to Mt. Meru Jackson's. I would take a look around tonight with a flashlight...
All my babies are montane species that just showed up in their mama's cages one morning. I've never dealt with eggs so I couldn't for the life of me figure out what that black thing was. It looked like a SCREW to me even though I knew it wasn't one. Just had to ask! Thanks!
I agree. All the pics are great but there's just something extra special about that first pic. How old are they? I love all the green.
What is that black thing on the baby's neck/shoulder in the third pic? Some kind of feeder?
Congrats!

I just found this post from two months ago written by someone who really knows chameleons. I'll keep looking. I want to find a picture to compare with your chameleon's black spot.

I don't think it is a bruise or stress. I will do some research and see what I can find out....maybe an infection or could be fungal???? It's possible it's a burn from the basking lamp. I really don't know. Most people are sleeping right now but check back tomorrow and I'm sure there will be...
I lost several in the early weeks when they were still living in a larger ExoTerra but not since I moved everyone into the smaller ExoTerras 3.5 months ago. Once they were in the smaller ExoTerra, it was MUCH easier to monitor every single baby. I am slowly moving some into larger glass or...

The babies are doing well. They will be 5 months old next week (July 20th) and will be ready for their new homes! The biggest is 16 grams! The two males are only 7 grams but both are healthy and active. Strangely enough, I have noticed that my biggest...
Your chameleon appears to be about 5-7 months old. When he is an adult, he will look like this:
Right now, you have a baby so be sure to follow the guidelines for juvenile Jackson's chameleons.
Temperature:
Baby/juvenile (<9 months): 70-75F (21-23C) ambient, 75-80F (23-26C) basking
Humidity...
