I'm partly convinced she knows that if I see her munching on leaves she might get an extra roach or bsfl out of me as I try to deflect her to eating something else (not my plants!)
The new pothos hasn't even been in a full 24 hours and we have already started on the all you can eat salad bar. You'd think at the rate she munches in the poor plants that I starve her!
She's got both UVB and heat elements in her normal enclosure, but its not near a window, wish I had the space to move it closer so she could stare outside all day.
We have started a new habit over the last few months, in the early afternoon she waits at the corner of the enclosure ( where the door opens) until I come by to take her to the window plants. Only get about 10-15 minutes because I don't trust her alone (terrified one of the plants will fall down...
I generally look at the casque and tail, and sometimes you can see it in the cheeks in terms of weight, because they are female and do go through cycles of producing eggs sometimes they can look larger/heavier in the belly region (? Not very familiar with chameleon anatomy so idk what to call...
The girls always need more love!

When I got her she was already estimated to be 8-9 months old, and she didn't start showing bits of her big girl colors for another 3-4 months after that, so I'd guess she was a little over a year old at that point?
Mine HATES the color red (or reddish orange) she will start getting all skinny and leaning to the side (almost horizontal) or cower in a corner in the back of the enclosure if she sees someone wearing red.
Just wanted to preface this, I am not looking for any health help, my cham is doing fine, I am writing about something that happened almost a year ago, but I was just curious if any one else had experience with permanent discoloration from injections or blood draws, and wanted to share a little...
